Supervisors Managing Safety(1 day course)

This program is directed at Front Line Supervisors, and walks them through due diligence, Bill C-45, the internal responsibility system and safety program components.

Safety Management (2 day course)

This program outlines the components necessary in an Occupational Health and Safety program at your site.

Safety Orientation (4 to 6 hours)

This program introduces you to the elements of onsite orientation programs. Topics covered will include: Occupational Health and Safety Worker responsibilities, Generic WHMIS, and an overview of safety in the meat industry.

Inspections/Hazard Identifications & Control (4 hours)

This program introduces you to hazard identification, risk assessment and control, development and implementation, It discusses not only planned regular inspections but job observations, supervisor inspection programs and spot inspections. A great course for an O.H.C. Member, Safety Representation or Supervisor.

WHMIS approx 90 min

Canadian WHMIS legislation is designed to provide consistent information about hazardous materials ( controlled products) that are used and/or produced in the workplace. This course trains people to recognize labels and symbols and identify and report potential hazards and follow MSDS guidelines.

The majority of services to our members are free of charge, with the exception of some courses where there is a minimal charge for books and supplies.
